Chris Wright
Interim Executive Director
Director, New Business
Chris Wright has more than 26 years of healthcare experience, with her entire career spent specializing in ultrasound. She has held roles in clinical, sales, marketing, applications and management, with more than 15 years spent as a registered technologist in obstetrics and gynecology. This expertise gives Chris a unique ability to provide the ultrasound user’s perspective.
Chris joined the Axess Ultrasound team in 2011. In her role as director of new business, Chris is responsible for identifying and developing new strategic initiatives and growing the company through existing service areas.
Before coming to Axess, Chris held marketing management roles within the pre-owned ultrasound division of GE Healthcare, helping to manage the trade-in channel and global redeployment of equipment for GE pre-owned sales. Chris’ strategic thinking and vast knowledge of ultrasound technology provides consultative influence for the vision of Axess Ultrasound.
Chris holds an associate’s degree in radiologic technology from Indiana University School of Medicine and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is board certified in diagnostic medical sonography.
Bob Broschart
Director, Technical Services
A high-energy leader, Bob Broschart has nearly 30 years of experience in medical equipment manufacturing, engineering, service and sales management.
In 2005, Bob helped launch Axess Ultrasound. In his role as director, technical services, Bob is responsible for probe research and development (R&D), technical operations and new product launch, as well as overseeing the Axess Ultrasound Technology Council.
Prior to joining Axess Ultrasound, Bob served as executive vice president of sales and marketing for Sound Imaging, a multi-vendor ultrasound service company, where he increased sales by more than 500 percent in just four years. He also brings experience from medical equipment manufacturers, including Boerhinger Mannheim and Biosound Esaote.
Bob holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology from ITT Technical Institute and a certificate in ultrasound physics and technology from Butler University. He is a member of Association Field Service Management International, National Association of Service Managers and American Management Association. In addition, Bob serves as an advisory board member in ultrasound technology for St. Catharine College in Kentucky.
Jeff Zugelter
Director, Sales & Service
Jeff Zugelter brings more than 26 years of ultrasound sales, field service and managerial experience to his role as director of sales and service. In this role, he oversees Axess Ultrasound’s national sales and service team and leads strategic sales initiatives focused on retaining business and maintaining Axess Ultrasound’s high level of customer satisfaction.
Jeff joined Axess Ultrasound as a sales and service manager in 2005 and was promoted to senior sales and service manager in 2011.
Jeff has been in the ultrasound industry since 1987, where he served as a field service engineer for Biosound Esaote. He has since held a variety of roles, including sales representative and service manager for multiple leading ultrasound companies. With numerous awards in service excellence and a member of many sales quota clubs, Jeff brings a wealth of experience in customer service and satisfaction.
Since joining Axess Ultrasound, Jeff has consistently been in the top tier of performers, achieving and exceeding quota multiple times. His knowledge of field service and sales will continue to be instrumental in the growth and leadership of Axess Ultrasound field employees.
Jeff holds an associate’s degree in electronic engineering technology from Cincinnati State College.
